About Bluebonnet Bikes
Hi, my name is Drake, and I've been riding and repairing bikes for more than 20 years. What started as fixing bikes for myself, family, and friends has turned into a passion for giving quality bikes a second life and making cycling accessible to everyone.
I started Bluebonnet Bikes to bridge the gaps between expensive new bikes, lackluster department store models, and hit-or-miss secondhand finds. We find quality used bikes from trusted brands and restore them to ride like new—everyday bikes for everyday people who just want a safe, reliable ride.

Happy riding!

Our Process
Every bike that comes through our shop follows the same thorough process, ensuring consistent quality you can count on:
Complete safety inspection
We check brakes, shifting, wheels, and frame integrity. If something isn't safe, we fix it or pass on the bike entirely.Deep clean
Frame, components, and drivetrain get thoroughly cleaned. This isn't just cosmetic—clean components last longer and perform better.Component replacement
Worn brake pads, stretched cables, tired chains—anything that's past its useful life gets replaced with quality parts.Wheel service
Wheels are trued for smooth rotation, hubs adjusted, and tires inspected. Wobbly wheels don't make it into inventory.Comprehensive tune-up
Cables get adjusted or replaced, derailleurs dialed in, brakes set up for responsive stopping power. Everything gets lubricated and adjusted to work smoothly.Final test ride
Before a bike goes up for sale, we ride it. This catches issues that don't show up in the work stand and ensures everything feels right under real riding conditions.
Our process ensures you're getting a bike that's clean, safe, and reliable. When we say it rides like new, we mean it. And we stand behind that with our 90-day warranty.
